This assignment provides you with an opportunity to reflect on your teamwork experience and evaluate the effectiveness of your teamwork in the group assignment.

This is a research essay. Your task is to draw on organisational behaviour theory and use this to critically analyse the effectiveness of your team when working on the group assignment. You need to:

1. Explain the different roles of team members and their contribution to the team and the task

2. Critically analyse a critical incident during the production of the group assignment

3. State what you would do differently next time

As a general guide, these three main parts should be roughly equal in word count. The introduction and conclusion should each be approximately 10% of the length of the paper.

Your paper should have the following sections:

• An introduction

• A chart showing the composition of your team

• A section defining and explaining the different roles of team members and their contribution to the team and the task, with a subsection defining and explaining teamwork

• A section providing and analysing a critical incident during the production of the assignment that had a significant positive or negative impact on your group’s output

• A statement about what would you do differently next time

• A conclusion

• A reference list

You MUST consult & reference a minimum of four (4) academic articles and two (2) books (of which one can be the recommend textbook Wood et al, 2016) to support your analysis.

You need to use the APA or Harvard Referencing System.

Length: The total length of the assignment is a maximum of 1,000 words (+/- 10%) (Team chart, reference list and title page are excluded from the word count)
