Question

Your company is a successful auto parts manufacturers in the United States. The CEO would like to lower the cost of producing the parts in the United States and would like to establish either an operation or joint venture in a foreign country. During a dinner meeting with a colleague the CEO is told that Latin America is a good place to set up operations. Not knowing anything about Latin America the CEO has asked you to prepare a short memo with bullet points on the best way to establish an operation overseas.
