A generator with a surface area of 30 m2 operating at steady state rotates a shaft at 2000 rpm producing a torque of 20,000 N-m and creates a current of 230 amps at 10,000 Volts. If the ambient temperature is 27 0C and the coefficient of heat transfer is 100 W/m2 determine a) the surface temperature of the generator in K and b) rate of entropy production in kW/K.
