Question: Sarah is attending a wedding in a foreign country. During the wedding, the hosts play a traditional, cultural game that involves embarrassing the wedding couple in the most horrifying fashion. Sarah is appalled by this foreign tradition and she thinks that the game is culturally barbaric. She does not want to participate in the wedding game. Yet, she doesn't want to offend her hosts by not joining in the traditional way of celebrating the marriage. Several people around Sarah begin giving her advice on what to do / how to respond to this situation. The advice that Sarah received is listed below.
