More and more employers are searching online to get information during the hiring process. What will they learn about you? Make sure you are branding yourself well. Spend 20-30 minutes or so searching for your name online, using search engines like Google and Yahoo. Use your first and last name as well as all your email addresses and usernames for any site, IM, or chat room you use (or have ever used). It might help to put your name in quotes (“John Smith” instead of John Smith).

Also use a reverse phone number lookup like whitepages.com, and search your phone numbers.

Use a map site (Google Earth or mapquest) to locate your house.

Write a one-page essay about what you find, addressing the following questions. Make sure your work is edited, as always. Worth 30 pts total.
