Question

One prevalent ethical healthcare issue is the allocation of scarce medical resources, particularly during crises such as pandemics or natural disasters. The ethical dilemma lies in determining how to fairly distribute limited resources such as ventilators, vaccines, or hospital beds among a larger population in need (Petrini, 2009). Ethical Analysis Using Ethical Theoretical Conceptual Model Utilizing the ethical theoretical conceptual model proposed by Beauchamp and Childress in their Principles of Biomedical Ethics (2001), we can approach this issue through the framework of four ethical principles: autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, and justice.
