Question

A 28 y.o. female comes to the office complaining of amenorrhea for one year. She had her second child 1 year ago and breastfed for 6 months. Since quitting breastfeeding, the patient has not resumed her menstrual cycles. She has not been using any kind of birth control for the past year and has not become pregnant. She and her husband would like to have a third child, and she is concerned that she may not be able to get pregnant again. She had no problems getting pregnant with either of her two children, although it took a little longer the second time.
