A pharmaceutical company develops two new drugs, Drug A and Drug B, to prevent a second myocardial infarction (MI) in subjects with past history of single MI. Subjects with past history of single MI are randomized into one of three groups: Drug A, Drug B, and standard of care and it is determined after one year if they experienced a second MI (yes/no).
