Problem- Using FTIR to analyze the HCl spectra. Obtained the wavelengths of said spectra. Now have to determine the rotational constant (B) and coupling constant (alpha) using a linear regression. All websites I have found show how to do a cubic regression but not linear. Need help setting up the excel spreadsheet to do the calculation.
