A metal rod is suspended from vertical springs attached to each end of the rod. The 40g rod causes the springs to stretch 15 centimeter. When a horizontal magnetic field is introduced and a current of 2.5 amps passes through the rod the springs stretch an additional 10 centimeter. Compute the strength of the magnetic field?
