Obtain the discrete-time (DT) or sampled signals x[n] = x(nTs) and h[n] = h(nTs) by discretizing the CT signals x(t) and h(t), respectively, using a sampling period of Ts = 0.01 s. This value ensures that the two CT signals can be fully recovered, if necessary. For example, the 4 s signal x(t) = u(t)-u(t-4) results in N = 4/Ts = 400 samples, x[n] = x(nTs), n = 0,1,...,N -1.
