A cork ball of mass 1.20 g is placed between two very large horizontal planes of charge. The bottom plane has a uniform charge density of +0.68 uC/m2, whereas the upper plane has a uniform charge density of -0.44 uC/m2. The cork ball, which carries an unknown charge, is placed between the planes and is observed to float motionlessly. What is the charge on the ball?
