A charged particle with an initial horizontal velocity of 2 km/s enters a region of uniform electric and magnetic fields. The magnetic field is vertical (up) and its strength is 1.5 T. Obtain the magnitude and give the direction of the electric field if the particle is to pass through un-deflected. Ignore gravitational force.
