Assume you are observing a very distant galaxy observed to be receding faster than c (due to metric expansion of space-time), however you somehow were able to pull on a string tied to the galaxy, in that the galaxy approached you all in the while space time continues to expand (among you and the galaxy).

1. What would you see?

2. Would you see the galaxy?

3. Would you see the galaxy moving forward or backward in time?
