Instructions: The Active Figure illustrates the motion of a projectile launched from level ground with an initial speed of 50 m/s. You can vary the initial angle with the blue slider. Click the fire button and observe the motion of the projectile. After the motion is complete, you can move your mouse to obtain the (xy) coordinates of any point along the trajectory.

Consider the case of a projectile launched from level ground. Examples include a golf ball hit from a tee on a level golf course and a place-kicked football. Let us analyze the motion of the projectile to determine the following:
