There is a need for a healthcare system that collects information and objectives of data obtained from telehealth devices. This is useful in the creation of patient-centered and personalized interventions in health. These technologies are important in the improvement of quality, reducing costs promoting customer satisfaction. This has the potential of raising many ethical questions. The creation and enforcement of complete privacy and security standards are created by the federal trade commission and federal agency. There is a concern in the devices and sensors that have been designed in detecting falls gathered and the transmission of activities that were found at the home of the patient. HIPAA outlines how confidential the information stored in telemedicine should be. It is, however, applicable to covered entities. FDA gives provisions for patient safety and not patient privacy.
