Fad diet is a nutritional plan that is aimed at reducing weight and health management (DeBruyne, Pinna and Whitney 184). Nutrition experts encourage people on health living by taking certain meals is vital in controlling and managing the person health by way of nutrition. As healthy became a major concern in day-to day living, many people pay attention when there is a salient effect on health.
A study on how following a fad diet can affect one's health will look at health as a dependent variables that can be influenced when a person followed a fad diet. In the study, the assumptions is that following a fad diet can result a positive affect on the ones health. The other measure would be failure to follow the fad diet would result in poor health, also it can led to a drop in the health. These two dimensions are going to be high in creating the relationship between the two variables.
Some people have shown concern about the fad diet and general health management through life style during and the available options of food (Machalanko 17). There are tendencies for people to make resolution to lose weight either basing on the deteriorating health or as a life style (Sonya 52). DeBruyne, Pinna and Whitney are of the view that there is a strong correlation between the nutritional program and the health of an individual (184). What matters most is the composition of the fad diet and the application of the plan (Machalanko 17).
