ASSIGNMENT: NUTRITION ARTICLE REVIEW
Critique a current scientific article (minimum of 2 pages in length) from a professional magazine, newsletter, newspaper, or internet which covers some aspect of nutrition that is currently being researched or investigated (no more than 5 years old). The written critique should be 2-3 pages, typed, and double-spaced.
WRITTEN REPORT SHOULD INCLUDE:
- Brief summary of the content of the article
- Discussion of the source, reliability, and accuracy of the information.
- Explanation of how this information should or should not apply to our everyday lives.
ORAL REPORT:
- Use the written critique/article to prepare a 5-minute oral report.
- Do not read the paper.
- Use interesting presentation techniques (powerpoint, poster, visuals, etc).
- Reports will be coordinated with lecture topics.
