Question

Nursing process is a systematic problem-solving process that guides all nursing activities. It is the type of thinking and doing nurses use in their practice" (Treas, Wilkinson, Barnett & Smith, 2018).

"Critical thinking is a combination of reasoned thinking, an openness to alternatives, an ability to reflect, and a desire to seek truth" (Treas, Wilkinson, Barnett & Smith, 2018).

Utilize these two definitions to reflect on past experiences and new information that was learned in this module. Apply it to an everyday non-medical occurrence such as a simple car accident and patient with pain that you might be caring for in a hospital setting.

How would the approaches to these two situations be different? How would they be the same?
