Question

Nursing in general has many biases. The first essential one that stuck out was "entry level into practice is the term for one's basic education to become a nurse" (Black, 2024). In today's society I have noticed that people who want to attend nursing school won't, because they are timid by their lack of education and/or experience. In the era of Florence Nightingale, she had limited education, and yet she was able to accomplish so much. I am a very visual person so I think just honestly having images of nurses back in the day and their supplies throughout the years would show just how much biases we have to set aside, because essentially nurses wanted the same outcomes- help the patient. The knowledge continued to grow and therefore providing nursing education to many different cultures during different time periods.
