A nurse is reviewing a client's medication record and notes that the client is receiving a suspension. What would the nurse need to do when administering this medication? Open the medication to mix it with food for administration. Mix the suspension with a liquid before administering it. Apply the medication to the skin in a thin layer. Shake the medication, measuring the dose for administration.
