Scenario: To assess compliance with a facility’s Title V air permit for emissions, you record a number of on-line measurements for carbon monoxide (CO) within the main process pipe (diameter of pipe is 2 feet; single emission source) over the course of two months. These measurements are being made at atmospheric pressure and at 150 degrees Centigrade (oC). The velocity of process flow through the pipe is on average 100 ft/minute.
