Question: At the final assembly point of BMW cars in Graz, Austria, the car's engine and transmission arrive from Germany and France, respectively. A quality control inspector, visiting for the day, selects a simple random sample of n cars from the N cars available for inspection, and records the total number of engine and transmission nonconformances for each of the n cars.
