The company is beginning to experience employee complaints and discussions of forming a union at one of its sites. Consider: Has the company been slack in addressing employee concerns? Is it possible for the company to proactively address employee concerns? (Whether you are personally pro-union or not, you are HR management in a company that does NOT want a union. Your goal is to take actions that will reduce employee complaints and build employee confidence in the company.) The goal is for you to place yourself in this situation and consider possible actions that will address each category of employee concerns in a way that will benefit the company and employees. Consider the extent of employee support that is needed for card signatures and to form a union. Consider the value of including employees in your strategies to resolve issues.
