Question

A patient was admitted with non reversible symptomatic bradycardia due to second degree atrioventricular block. The patient underwent an initial placement of a permanent dual chanber pacemaker with percutaneous leads terminating in the right atrium and ventricle. Leads were connected to the pulse generator, which was placed in a subcutaneous pocket that was made on the chest by incision.
