Question

A patient was admitted with non reversible symptomatic bradycardia due to second degree atrioventricular block. The patient underwent an initial placement of a permanent dual chanber pacemaker with percutaneous leads terminating in the right atrium and ventricle. Leads were connected to the pulse generator, which was placed in a subcutaneous pocket that was made on the chest by incision. Testing showed that the system was functioning approprately and the patient will discharge to home tomorrow. Assign the appropriate procedure codes to report this procedure.
