-Wireless media-
Basically the wired media is the free space per where a particular type of electromagnetic waves propagates: waves of radio frequency that are carriers of data signals. Currently there are networks whose signal is not transmitted by a physical medium. like the cable but is radiated from an antenna through space (radio modems).
-Wired media-
A wired communication medium is defined as a cable and perhaps other electronic devices that physically connect power adapters communication with each other. If the communication medium consists only of cable, the communication is called passive. If the means of communication, in addition to cable, consists of some device that: amplify, regenerate, or modulate the signal, the medium is called active.
Using the above information from the media; develop a comparison between both means and indicate which would be more efficient if implemented in a Local Network which needs to communicate remotely with a Server which manages the data used by the Local Network. It must show the topology of the Network indicating the means of communication and the link with the remote Data Server (WAN), taking into account the following:
a. Bandwidth
b. Mechanical Characteristics
c. Electrical Characteristics
d. Transmission Characteristics
