Task Description
Task 1: Protocol comparison
In this task, you compare and contrast RIP and OSPF in the following points:
• Routing approach
• Protocol structure
• Performance
• Advantages and disadvantages
• Application
The word count is limit between 500 - 1000 words. All reference sources should be listed using IEEE referencing format. Direct copy and paste will graded zero (0).
Task 2: Network architecture analysis and redesign
You have been given the job of analysing and redesigning the network for DigiTour.com. You have been given a network diagram and told the following:
• Currently, the network uses 10.10.0.0/16 IP address range.
• The corporate network spreads over 4 building and IP network.
• The number of PCs in each network is given as follow:
o Building A: 12 PCs, o Building B: 15 PCs, o Building C: 45 PCs and o Building D: 30 PCs

Fig 2.1 - The DigiTour.com Network.
a) You must analyse the architecture of the DigiTour.com network given in Fig.2.1 and write an analysis (500-1000 words) about the potential problems of the given
network.
b) Based on your analysis, redesign the network so that it can overcome the identified issues.
You can use diagrams.net or eNSP to redesign the network. Include a screenshot.
c) You also need to redesign the IP addressing plan for the network to match with new network architecture.
Task 3: Network simulation
In this task you will simulate the network you have redesigned in eNSP and demonstrate the working simulation to your tutor.
Record a short (maximum 5 minutes) video and provide a link demonstrating your working network.
In the video you must show the following:
• The IP address ranges. (Consider using text to provide that in the eNSP diagram).
• At least 2 PC's in each building communicating with each other (you do not need to put all PC's in the building, just enough to show that it works),
• the links working between the buildings,
• all building can connect to the internet (or at least to the external/internet side of the router).
