Question

The National Library of Medicine indicates that the Common identifiable causes include diabetes mellitus, nerve compression or injury, alcohol use, toxin exposure, hereditary diseases, and nutritional deficiencies. Peripheral neuropathy is idiopathic in 25% to 46% of cases. Other generalized diseases can also cause this condition. In addition. to disease, certain risk factors can increase a person's likelihood of developing Peripheral Neuropathy. These include having a family history of the disorder, being overweight, having high blood pressure, and being over the age of 40.
