Customers should be able to get products and services when, where, and how they want them. That's why marketing channels should be built to meet their needs. In this situation, several franchises, including Jollibee Foods Corporation., McDonald's Corporation, Pizza Hut., Domino's Pizza, and Dunkin Donuts plan to do just that by transforming their channel structures to include mobile channels comprised of fully equipped trucks and vans that can deliver many of the products sold in their bricks and mortar stores right to customers' homes and workplaces. When and where will these delivery services (truck or van) come and how will potential customers know? Customers can follow the sellers' whereabouts on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms.
