Athletic administrators and coaches have a stated duty by NIAAA (National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association) to provide adequate medical care for their athletes.  Failure to do so could result in a law suit against all responsible parties.

The Situation

You are the athletic director at a high school.  Your school is undergoing massive school campus renovation lasting over multiple school years, resulting in the unavailability of most of your outside athletic venues and fields on your school campus for a season or more.  You have arranged for your school teams with no available on-campus practice/playing sites to use athletic facilities and/or fields within your community for practices and games during the renovation, not all of which are at the same community location site.  On a school day during the spring athletic season, you have 3 home athletic events scheduled, 2 of which are to take place at community athletic venues and 1 scheduled on your school campus.  You also have 1 away contest that day.  Your school is assigned or employs one certified athletic trainer.

Your Discussion.......in lieu of this situation, how can you, as athletic administrator, ensure proper medical coverage for all of your home and away athletic events on this day?
