A primitive musical instrument can be made with stretching a rubber band across the diameter of a can which is open on the top, closed on the bottom. Say the diameter of the can is 12.0 cm and it has a height of66.0 cm. If the rubber band has a mass of 0.55 grams, what tension must it have so that, when plucked, the sound wave of the fundamental of the rubber band matches the fundamental of the can?
