Multinational Company Analysis

The assignment is to use theories and concepts from the course to analyze and explain the activities of a Multinational Company. You will use an actual firm and demonstrate your understanding of course theories and concepts. The assignment will incorporate international business and management topics such as globalization, internationalization, industry analysis, leadership, culture, and global strategy. I will review for accuracy, appropriateness, relevance, and adherence to APA formatting. This assignment should be a minimum of 3 pages in length. Make sure to address each topic area comprehensively.

Please include the following sections in your report:

1.Short history or overview of the firm.
2.National positioning analysis - How does the company position itself to attract firms and investment from within and outside national borders? Why did the firm choose to locate in this particular country? Impact of different national employment laws, policies, and norms on the firm when it operates in different counties. When researching the firm, did you find any influence from international institutions?

3.Management challenges such as organizational design and culture - How does the firm manage the differences between national culture and organizational culture and the impact on day-today activities?

4.Global strategy of the firm and global industry analysis.

5.Competition - What is the nature of the competitive forces within the industry currently and how are these dynamics likely to change? How is the firm positioned with respect to its industry competitors in the internal and external environment?

6.Overall assessment and recommendations of this firm's competitive advantage in areas such as sources, distinctiveness, imitability, and sustainability.
