In this assignment, there are two factors that influence motivation are intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Here are the questions I'd like you to consider for this discussion. ONLY ORIGINAL answers for this please. No copying and pasting. 

  1. Tell us about a time that you've been intrinsically motivated and how it was different than a time you were extrinsically motivated.
  2. Discuss two pros and two cons of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Provide illustrative examples from your own experience.
  3. Interview a family member about how they used extrinsic motivation to try to motivate you when you were young. Did it work? How well? Would they have changed anything?
  4. If motivation is essentially voluntary, how do you motivate volunteers?
  5. Besides pay, what other extrinsic motivators would provide the best incentive for people to accomplish goals/tasks? If you had zero budget but needed to use extrinsic motivation, what would you do?
