Employers can monitor employees' voice-mail and e mail, track their internet use, conduct video surveillance in the workplace and listen in on telephone calls made by employees during work hours. Technology now makes this employee monitoring both easy and relatively inexpensive. When does monitoring employee performance become an invasion of privacy?
