Question

Joann is a 2-week-old infant discharged recently from the hospital after being monitored for jaundice. She lives with her 19-year-old mom and 20-year-old dad who have recently come to Canada from overseas. The public health nurse has requested the assistance of an HCA in the home to assist with the daily care of Joann as mom is demonstrating difficulty caring for herself and her infant while dad is away from home working. Specific issues expressed by mom are dealing with frequent feedings and diaper changes while being so tired, and not able to organize her day so as to do all the "other things babies need". CARE Principles in this scenario would differ in the following ways.
