Assessment Task: Monitor and Improve Human Resource Services

PART A: EVALUATE CLIENT FEEDBACK

Provide Analysis
Hint: Provide an analysis of the results here, detailing any issues identified. Also, include a graphical representation of the results with an explanation.

Step 1
Using the report template provided in the email, review the results and then evaluate them. The report needs to include the following:
Provide a title for the report.
Provide an overview of the survey. This should include:
the purpose of the survey
a brief analysis of client satisfaction and recommendations.
the questions asked and the number of responses received (this should be four or five)
Provide detailed analysis of the survey feedback:
Include a graphical representation of the results with an explanation.
Point out things that are working well.
Discuss any shortfalls which can be improved upon.
Provide a list of recommendations based on your analysis on how to improve or address the issues raised.

Step 2
Using the template available via the CBSA website, create an email for Glenda Williams and include the evaluation report. The email must include the following:
Specify who the email is to.
Specify who the email is from.
Specify the date and time you sent the email.
Specify the subject.
Specify the attachment.
Contain a body part of the email detailing why you are sending this email.
Complete the email footer specifying the job position you are role playing.

PART B: MAKE IMPROVEMENTS
How would you address underperformance, give some recommendations? Also discuss what changes need to be made?

Step 1
For the purpose of the meeting, the assessor will play the role of Glenda Williams with fellow classmates playing the roles of managers affected by your recommendations. Once you have finished your meeting, you will swap roles with the other students until all students have led a meeting to discuss their recommendations and the approval for these.
The assessor will organise the time and place for the meeting. During the meeting, you must complete the following:
Provide an overview of the recommendations you have made.
Discuss and gain agreement from attendees on how to implement changes based on the recommendations.

Step 2
Based on the results of the meeting and agreements made. Using the template available via the CBSA website, send out an email to all staff and copy Glenda Williams. The email must specify:
who the email is to
who the email is from
the date and time you sent the email
the subject
contain a body part of the email detailing why you are sending this email:
the reason for the email - refresher in CBSA policies and procedures when dealing with client information
list of the policy procedures to be reviewed
replay expected from all staff stating they have read the relevant policy procedures
who to go to if they have questions
informing them of a follow up refresher training sessions to be scheduled
complete the email footer specifying the job position you are role playing.
