Student's registration processes is one of the complex process University's managements deal with every year. As a student, you are appointed to model the registration process for the university.

This exercise is structured into two sections as follows:

Section A: Processes Components Identification

Before you start modelling the registration process, identify and discuss each components that are necessary for the registration process.

Students are advised to be creative and come up with comprehensive scenarios of real situations that constitute University registration process.

· Activities
· Business objects
· Actors (resources)

Section B: Modelling Registration Process

Based on the components that you have identified in section A above, model the Registration process. Use Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) to depict the various steps in the registration business process.

When modelling the registration process, you must incorporate the following components

1) An Exclusive decisions, Parallel execution and inclusive decision
2) A demonstration of a rework and repetition (parallel or loop)
3) Process decomposition through a sub-process
4) A global process for re-use
5) Handling events (i) racing event, (ii)timer event
6) Handling exceptions (i) throwing and catching an error event ,(ii)compensate event
