ASSIGNMENT QUESTION - John owns a small restaurant. The business operates in the form of a private limited company. John is the main shareholder and only director. One of his employees, William, reaches his 65th birthday in two months and is due to retire. John mentions William during the lunch break that he wants to organise a retirement party for him. However, William tells him that he does not intend to retire. John is now worried about the situation also because, during the last year, he had concerns about William's productivity but he decided not to deal with this issue because William has always been an excellent worker and because he thought that his retirement was imminent.
