Zip-Lining in the Cypress Hills

Questions:

1. Explain how a ‘Medicine Hat College Student' would go through each stage of the consumer decision process when deciding to go zip-lining at Cypress Hills for the first time'. Discuss each stage separately.

2. In order to increase their number of customers the owners have asked you to develop a survey that would be given to college students at MHC (most would not have ever tried the ziplines at Cypress Hills). The participants would receive a $20 coupon for use at ‘TREEOSIX' when they complete the survey. Create SIX more questions that would be included on a written survey to the students. (The beginning of the survey is on the next page.) The survey's purpose is to determine how they can do a better job of gaining sales from this target market-college students. Write out your question just as it should appear on the finished survey, and then below the question explain why it is an important question. Explain how it will help the owners to make better decisions regarding meeting the needs of this target market. Remember this is not a post-experience survey, but an attempt to determine how to get college students to their business.

3. What are the strengths (think of specific things that can be observed) and the pitfalls of using ‘mystery shoppers' that would secretly evaluate the whole process of purchasing and taking a guided zip-line tour at TREEOSIX.
