it's Dr. Doolittle, checking in with you. We have a dog named "Lucky" in our mixed animal veterinary clinic in Unity, Maine. Lucky is a 6 year old Labrador Retriever neutered male dog and beloved family pet. Unfortunately he was hit by a car while chasing a moose. Our veterinary team has examined him and removed a ruptured spleen at surgery. How should we monitor Lucky's major organ systems while he recovers in the veterinary hospital?
