Mike graduated from school a few months ago. He applied to various companies and has decided to take a position as a supervisor at a well-known local restaurant. He is excited to lead a team and feels hopeful for the future of the restaurant.
On his first day at work, Mike was sorely disappointment in what he found. For one, he felt that his employees were only looking out for their own best interests. There was little teamwork evident and hardly any communication. Employees seemed bored and unhappy. Furthermore, they were unwilling to engage with him and often gave one-word answers to his questions.

Before Mike decides if he is going to leave and find a job with less management challenges, Mike in turn was reconsidering his decision for taking this position, he turns to you for some suggestion.
