Microbiology is a fascinating field of study. Numerous concepts and information pertinent to our nursing career have been taught to me. The notion that I find the most difficult is recognizing diseases and their causative microorganisms. I frequently mistook one microbial group for another and forgot their names. It is also difficult for me to remember all the details, especially their incubation period.

As an LVN, I have produced a chart containing the most prevalent ailments I encounter at the hospital. In this chart, I listed the infectious agents, signs, and symptoms of the disease, as well as its incubation time, mode of transmission, and treatment option. In this way, I will become acquainted with these disorders and be able to use this information to deliver superior treatment and education to my patients.
