As per our last discussion I have prepared another topic and aim, research question. So could you please check and do let me know for the further process so I can start work on it asap. Aim: To evaluate supply chain operations of H&M, Zara, and UNIQLO using the SCOR model. Please see the attached my comments, e will discuss them in our tomorrow's meeting. Sure, I will be there on time and here I have attached my proposal so kindly check. Is there anything which I have to prepare just let me know.

Thirdly, your research can use certain case studies (like those companies you mentioned), but in your research aim and research questions, do not list them, as your research is not a company report, you only use those companies as case studies to test a theory, your research contribution should be theory and practice in general, not just for these a few companies. Go read about what is academic research and how to do an academic research, then start work on it. Last but not least, you need to submit MoRE form, get it approved before you can do your data collection. You should wait till we agreed on your data collection methods (i.e. I approved your interview / questionnaire questions, or other data collection plan) then you can fill out the MoRE form.

Firstly, the SCOR model is not a theory, it is a management tool for supply chain management, just like 4Ps is a management tool for marketing and PESTEL is a management tool for strategy. This is a master's dissertation, not a business / industrial report. Your dissertation needs contribute to research gaps (i.e. gap in theory and gap in practice). Go read more literature form textbooks and academic journals, find research on similar topics and see what those research did, what theories they applied. Secondly, as Research Questions, they need to be in a format of questions, what you listed are not questions. Research objectives should be in the format of 'to do...'.

Having said that, JIT is not a theory, it is a strategy. KBV is not one theory, it is a school of research / thoughts about the role of knowledge in organisations, and your RQs and ROs have nothing to do with knowledge management. Strategic choice theory is a theory considers how internal political situation and the external environment of an organisation influence individual’s or a group’s choice in an organisation, again, your RQs and ROs have nothing to do with these either. If you are interested in the above ‘theories’, I strongly recommend you only apply one of them in your dissertation research. If you set to apply one of these three ‘theories’, then you will be able to narrow your research aim, and then produce a set of logical and rational RQs and ROs. The whole research setting is far too broad. For the research aim “to evaluate supply chain operations of garment retail companies”, you need to be much more specific. The RQs, ROs and the theories you identified all echo your current research aim. The RQs and ROs looks like some randomly selected issues (although I can see you try to cover the supply chain from production to delivery), I cannot see are the logical and rational interrelations among the four RQs and the four ROs. You identified three “theories”, do you know to apply all of them in one research requires what kind of literature review and data? – huge!! If you are interested doing a five-year PhD degree, you may carefully consider them, but not for a master’s dissertation.
