Assessment
- This assessment will require a detailed knowledge of all 6 x policy areas identified in Weeks 6 to 12 of the Subject Guide. The 6 x policy areas will be outlined in the weekly lecture, with more detail found in your weekly PDF documents found on the LMS.
- You are required to focus on one stage of the "6-stage policy process model" outlined in Chapter 2 (p. 28) of the Stewart et al. (2004) text. That is, Stage 4 ("Policy implementation"). In other words, the implementation of policy is the lens through which you are looking at a range of sport policy problems.
- Your report will focus on government (not organisational) sport policy that addresses the 6 x policy areas. These sixff policy areas are:
1. Elite Sport & Sport Pathways
2. Sport Participation & Junior Sport
3. Inclusion, Harassment & Discrimination
4. Sport Integrity (gambling)
5. Sport Integrity (drugs in sport)
