Topic and business area - Food, beverages and consumer goods
Project Purpose & Learning Outcomes
The purpose of this project is to enable you to design an organization with sustainability at its core, guided by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and associated frameworks. The Sustainable Development Goals define global sustainable development priorities and aspirations for 2030 and seek to mobilize global efforts around a common set of goals and targets. The SDGs call for worldwide action among governments, business and civil society to end poverty and create a life of dignity and opportunity for all, within the boundaries of the planet. While governments worldwide have agreed to these goals, its now time for business to act.
Learning Outcome 1: Understand the complexity of sustainable development and the different aspects of the SDGs
Learning Outcome 2: Assess the impact your organization can have on the SDGs
Learning Outcome 3: Demonstrate how the SDGs can help integrate economic, social and environmental accountability in the way of doing business
Learning Outcome 4: Apply tools (such as GAPFRAME and the SDG Impact Assessment) and knowledge to embed sustainability at the core of your business strategy using the SDG framework
Learning Outcome 5: Broaden SDG impacts across business activities
