In private sector organizations, the most commonly applied measures/metrics of organizational performance (efficiency, effectiveness, and success) fall within the arena of an organization's overall financial performance.
Whereas those measures are appropriate, they certainly don't tell the whole story, and can certainly create unbalanced assessment of organizational results. Stimulate your collective mind into considering appropriate performance metrics outside the financial domain.
Suggest two or three non-financial performance measures that would be appropriate in the human resources department/division of a for-profit organization. The organization can be any kind of for-profit. For example, a law firm, hospital, business, or any other kind of for-profit enterprise.
For example, you might select one of these operating departments listed above (or another in an organization with which you are familiar, e.g., a law firm) and make the case for a prioritized list of the most appropriate metrics that should be applied in that unit to assess efficiency, effectiveness, and success. (Be sure you identify the kind of organization you are discussing.)
