Informatics is a body of knowledge that provides a method for nurses to develop new models of care. The degree of the digital age has brought advances and changes to the established healthcare models of past years. Nursing informatics (NI) can use this knowledge for the development of resources for health care services. With the recent pandemic, health care organizations have remodeled how health care can be delivered. According to Hussey and Kennedy (2016), a core principle of integrating care is redesigning health care delivery systems to align models more closely to population health and community well-being, while remaining sensitive to the needs of active users. What are some ways your health care organization reframed care delivery to meet the demands of the patient population during the pandemic?
