One description of a person's ETHICAL VALUES is: ETHICAL VALUES are the rules of the road; they determine how a person makes choices. One's personal ETHICAL VALUES are the code of ethical guidelines that that guide your choices in your personal life. One's personal ETHICAL VALUES develop from common ethical guidelines observed in other people. However, each individual will place a different level of importance on each personal ETHICAL VALUE. The individual's view of the level of importance of a particular personal ETHICAL VALUE will determine how the value is maintained and practiced in their daily life. Examples of some common personal ETHICAL VALUES include: - Honesty - Empathy - Self-respect However, this list is very limited. There are many more personal ETHICAL VALUES. Reflect on your own personal ETHICAL VALUES and how they have developed.
