Scenario.
Your friend, an entrepreneur has recently started a new creative design business. She has hand-picked 6 team members who are very skilled at their technical jobs. The overall atmosphere is quite informal. The group has no set work schedule or a formal leader. They usually bring lunch to work and brainstorm for new ideas around the lunch table. Everyone is welcome to join the session, but it is not unusual for team members to miss the discussion as they may be taking care of personal works during lunch. Recently, disputes involving clash of personality styles and design decisions are on the rise. The senior team members prefer to work during odd hours like weekends and late evenings. Two of them prefer a fixed 9 am to 5pm schedule. Another two work continuously for long hours for 3 to 4 days at a stretch and may not come on the subsequent days. One person seems to be working all the time, but the output does not seem to justify the time spent. As a team, they had sometimes delivered some excellent projects.
Question: With a growing number of projects and disputes at the same time, your friend is asking you to give some ideas on how she could be an effective leader in this situation. Analyze the current situation and give suggestions
