What is the SMART for this project "Medication non-adherence remains a major health issue among psychiatric patients. In the mental health care and management, psychotropic medications are administered to help patients cope or manage their symptoms. According to Dobber et al. (2020), approximately 46% of psychiatric patients stop taking their medications three months after prescription, impacting their recovery process. In an attempt to improve mental health care and management, there is a need to improve medication adherence among psychiatric patients through implementation of interventions such as motivational interviewing".
